Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate rules
Villa Sibuya is located within Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate. While living alongside wildlife in the African bush is a wonderful and unique experience, the Estate has established a number of rules to ensure that people and wildlife can live together safely and harmoniously. All guests are required to comply with these rules:
- Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited. It is important to allow nature to take its course and to prevent animals from becoming accustomed to finding food near the homes. The farm management of Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate closely monitors the welfare of the wildlife.
- Fishing is not permitted in the dams or rivers. It is also prohibited to remove bones, wood, plants, flowers or any other natural materials from the wilderness area.
- Driving, cycling or walking on the runway or on the grass between the hangars and the runway is strictly prohibited.
- Walking is only permitted when carrying a map, sufficient drinking water and a fully charged mobile phone.
- Please do not leave food unattended, as this may attract unwanted visitors such as squirrels, monkeys and snakes.
- Guests are responsible for ensuring that all windows and doors are closed when leaving the villa. Please note that monkeys can open the insect screens and enter through open windows, potentially leaving a considerable mess behind.
- Vehicles must remain on designated roads and tracks. The maximum speed is 30 km/h. Wildlife, cyclists and pedestrians always have right of way.
- Drones are not permitted anywhere on the Estate.
- Please do not cause excessive noise. Music must be kept at a volume that does not disturb other residents. Parties and gatherings are not permitted.
- For your own safety, diving into the swimming pools is not permitted.
- Please separate and dispose of waste in the designated recycling bins.
- Please do not leave the bedroom air conditioning running throughout the day. Turning it on approximately 30 minutes before going to bed is sufficient to ensure a cool bedroom.
- Water is a scarce resource in Africa. Please use water responsibly and avoid unnecessary waste.
Complaints
If Villa Sibuya does not meet your expectations, you must report this to the host immediately during your stay. If you are unable to resolve the matter with the host, the complaint must be reported immediately to the owners of Villa Sibuya. This allows an appropriate solution to be considered while there is still an opportunity to address the issue. Only if the complaint is justified and has a significant adverse effect on your stay may an appropriate solution consist of alternative accommodation of at least equivalent standard, subject to availability, or reasonable compensation. The owners of Villa Sibuya are not obliged to provide a solution if this is impossible or would involve unreasonably high costs. If a complaint is not reported during the stay, the tenant forfeits the right to claim compensation.
Governing Law
All booking agreements and any related arrangements shall be governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be submitted to the competent court.
